Recapture (“Recapture,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of Pith Strategies LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Recapture provides a missed-call text-back and AI SMS “front desk” service to local businesses (each, a “Business”). When you call or text a Business that uses Recapture, we process information on that Business’s behalf so it can respond to you.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you call a Business that uses Recapture and the call is not answered, or when you reply to our text messages, we collect your phone number and the content of the messages you send. You may also share details such as your name, the service you’re interested in, or scheduling preferences.

Information collected automatically. We collect call and message metadata such as timestamps, message direction, and delivery status to operate and improve the service. We do not record phone-call audio.

How we use your information

We use your information to: (1) send the missed-call text-back and operate the AI front-desk conversation on behalf of the Business you contacted; (2) route your inquiry, details, and booking requests to that Business; (3) maintain a record of the conversation for the Business; and (4) secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

SMS / text messaging

When you contact a Business that uses Recapture and your call is missed, you may receive an automated text message and can continue the conversation by text. Message frequency varies based on your conversation. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can request help by replying HELP. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as messaging and customer-service providers, is permitted solely to operate the service. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We share your information with: (1) the Business you contacted, so it can respond to and serve you; and (2) service providers that help us operate Recapture, strictly under contract and only as needed — including Twilio (telephony/SMS delivery), Anthropic (AI-generated reply text), Supabase (secure data storage), and Vercel (hosting). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain conversation and lead data for as long as needed to provide the service to the Business and as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. A Business may request deletion of its data, and you may contact us to request deletion of your information (see below).

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including access controls and encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Children’s privacy

Recapture is intended for businesses and their adult customers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
